Their wooden doors are just as steeped in history as the houses in the historic old town.
Some of them date back to the time of Anna Neumann (1535-1623), who had a decisive influence on the town as the “Lady of Murau”. The doors are particularly interesting from an art-historical point of view and are still fully functional. They not only connect the inside and the outside, but also the past and the present.
All doors can be inspected from the outside at any time.
