The Gothic St. Peter's Church in St. Lambrecht Abbey underwent a bold adaptation in 2017. Even the front building gives an idea that this is an unconventional project.
The choir floats like a cloud beneath the vault painting and, together with the simple wooden benches and the newly designed presbytery, conveys a feeling of lightness. The flooring, the cylindrical side altar and the red stone ambo complete the symbiosis of tradition and modernity.
Visits are possible by arrangement with the Benedictine Abbey of St. Lambrecht.
