Theh Karchau cross-country skiing trail is located in open surroundings, far away from an busy main road, and offers the perfect place to switch off and relax.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Here turn right in the direction of Teufenbach. In Teufenbach keep left towards Mariahof. In Mariahof turn right again to St. Lambrecht. In St. Lambrecht continue straight ahead until shortly before St. Blasen. Here turn left over a small bridge and drive through the forest to the Alpengasthof Moser.
Coming from Tamsweg drive via Ranten (or Stadl an der Mur) to Murau. Shortly after Murau turn right (in front of the company IBS) and follow the road through the forest until you reach the Alpengastof Moser.
The trail starts at the parking lot of Alpengasthaus Moser also know as "Karchauer Wirt" and leads on the northern side of the road first slightly descending and after crossing the stram slightly ascending towards the east. Here the trail makes two loops and then leads back towards the starting point.
