More information
We start our tour at the parking lot of the family ski area on the Kaiserau. The ascent runs parallel to the family descent at the Brunntal lift. At the crossing, we follow the signs to the right and follow them to a small creek where there is a “Skitour” signpost. We ascend through the forest via the Wagenbänkalmen to the summit of the Lahngangkogel. We continue towards the Klinkehütte, which is closed in winter. The descent from the Klinkehütte is either via the steep slope or via the forest road, which is not cleared in winter, back to the Kaiserau, where we stop for refreshments at the Sportalm.
