The wood economic cycle is presented here. From modern and traditional forestry to the use of energy and the use of wood in the construction industry.

The path of wood begins in the forest, at the Knapp mountain farm, where you will encounter a particularly respectful approach to nature. In the immediate vicinity there is an internationally active company to take a closer look at: the company KLH (Kreuzlagenholz), which has already used its technology to build multi-story high-rise buildings made of wood, is demonstrating high-tech in the wood sector. The Murau carpenters and master carpenters impress with their innovative use of the material and offer those interested new information on the subject of wood.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here towards Murau. Turn left in Teufenbach.

Coming from Tamsweg, drive via Ranten (or Stadl an der Mur) to Murau. Continue straight ahead until you reach Teufenbach. The parking lot is on the right.

The tour starts in Teufenbach, runs towards Niederwölz, continues to Oberwölz, St. Peter am Kammersberg and all the way to Schöder. In Schöder towards Ranten - turn left here towards Murau and continue to Frojach. Here the route continues over the Furtnerteich to Neumarkt and via Gottherdsdorf & Scheifling back to the starting point.
