The 7-Bacherl-Weg leads us at the beginning along the Feistritz river into the Freienberger Klamm gorge to the Feistritzwerke show power station, where we cross the state road.
After a steep climb through a forest we reach Neuhaus Castle.
Passing the farm Erlacher, the path leads through a rising forest directly past the 1st Austrian Schnapslehrpfad - Hödlhof.
Steadily, gentle ascents and ridges alternate with the valleys and streams behind them.
From Stubenberg on we cross several small streams in natural wooded ditches between the agriculturally used ridges.
After a final climb through a forest, the trail reaches the Stelzer-Lex inn. ( In July and August no inn operation). A beverage vending machine is available.
From here we return to the starting point on foot in one hour.
