Quaint alpine hut ambience in a quiet, idyllic location with fantastic views of the Seetal Alps mountain range. Direct access to the central hiking and cycling trails, cross-country skiing from the hut in winter. Ski area approx. 4 km away. Individually and lovingly furnished guest rooms, rustic dining rooms in keeping with the character of the hut. Spacious and natural garden.

On a south-facing slope in the Seetal Alps, at 1,400 m above sea level, Almgasthof Judenburger Hütte features an indoor pool, a sauna, a steam shower, and a tennis court. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian cuisine.

The rustically furnished rooms at the Judenburger Hütte come with satellite TV and a bathroom. Some have a balcony.

During the day, you can go to the nearby cross-country ski trail, the ski area or climb the Zirbitzkogel on touring skis. This brings you much closer to nature. On a clear full moon night, you can then enjoy a fun toboggan ride from the Winterleithenhütte down to the Schmelz 3 km away.

Guests can play table tennis and use ski and bicycle storage rooms. The large garden includes a children’s playground and deck chairs. Free private parking is available on site.

Hiking and mountain bike trails start at the doorstep, and cross-country skiing is possible 500 m away. The Rieseralm Ski Area is 5 km away, and it is 10 km to Obdach. The Red Bull Ring is 28 km away.

Arrival and departure

Coming from Vienna via Semmering: S 36, A2 Südautobahn - exit Zeltweg West - direction Obdach - in Obdach at the Raiffeisenbank turn into St. Wolfganger Straße, approx. 8 km in direction St. Wolfgang, in the village turn left in front of the church, approx. 1,4 km uphill, then half left, after 0,5 km you reach the Judenburger Hütte.

Coming from Graz: A2 Südautobahn - exit Bad St. Leonhard - direction Zeltweg, Bad. St. Leonhard, Reichenfels, Obdach - for further description see above.
