Cider is currently experiencing a renaissance. Once known as a farmer's drink, cider is now enjoying increasing popularity thanks to the latest cellar and processing techniques.
Orchards characterise the landscape here. Cider sommelier David Kargl shows that excellent must and cider can also be made from orchards. Driven by his enthusiasm for the product and his love of his work, he has created flagship products from and for the region. In addition to quality fruit wine in several varieties (Kronprinz Rudolf, Champagner Renette etc.), the product range at the Kühbrein farm also includes cider and sparkling apple wine. The cider is made from old, traditional apple varieties from the southern slopes of the Kühbrein farm.
