Das Detox Almhaus
The Almhaus combines tradition with modernity. Nestled in a farm formerly managed with dairy cows, the house offers a traditional ambience, but modern amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, dishwasher, stove, and microwave. The living room is directly connected to the kitchen, and invites you to enjoy a cozy dinner after a day outdoors, with the tiled stove providing cozy warmth.
Of course there is also a hot water, and a bathroom, and separate toilet.
The outdoor area offers enough space to linger in the sun, prepare a delicious meal with the existing charcoal grill, and then enjoy the unique ambience around the fire bowl in the midst of the mountains under a breathtaking starry sky.

Host information
After working and studying in 8 countries across 3 continents I moved back to my beautiful home country to enjoy the nature and spend as much time outdoors as possible. I inherited the former farmhouse from my parents and remodelled it in 2019.
When my wife Sarah, who grew up in a mountain valley herself, and I are not there to relax and detox from the city life in Graz, I rent it out so others can also experience the calmness and beauty of untouched nature and enjoy an unforgettable visit off the beaten track.

Conditions
On the 1st floor there are 2 large and very bright bedrooms, with beautiful views of the mountains. On the 2nd floor is the penthouse, with a large anteroom and also a beautiful view of the surrounding meadows and mountains.
Each room has additional heaters, in case it should be a bit cooler in the transition months.
