Sternderlschau'n, Bergschau'n, Naturschau'n - our nine Sloho apartments surprise with plenty of individuality. Carpenter furniture mingles with Styrian old wood and heirlooms from Slovenia.
The hosts favorite colors bring the colorful mountain life directly into the apartments. And the local flora in floral decors add a touch of romance and coziness. All apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, a balcony and - because there's nothing more homely - a little fire place for “watching the flames”. What would you like to discover first?

Breakfast & bakery: Every morning we can bring you fresh pastries or our lovingly varied breakfast box directly to your apartment.
Café & regional store: In our shop you'll find a selection of homemade food in a jar, some delicious stuff to cook by yourself and some lovely things to take home. Enjoy your favorite coffee and let yourself be surrounded by the colorful Sloho ambience. Look forward to homemade cakes every Tuesday and Saturday - the best ones, we think.
Sport & nature: The hiking and skiing area runs right past Sloho - you're right in the middle of it all! The cross-country ski trail is also just a 5-minute walk away..
Sauna & Relax: Our swiss pine sauna is available to all guests (in common) by prior arrangement. Here you can relax wonderfully after a mountain adventure. If you prefer something more exclusive, just book on of our Bergschau'n apartments with a private panoramic sauna, relaxation room and magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.

Host information
We are the Slodnjak family. Damira, Jelka and Vladi. Typical family, we are quite different. Vladi, the jack-of-all-trades, always needs something to do. Jelka is the spontaneous one who cares a lot about health. And Damira has a certain eye for beauty. Because we can each do and like different things, we complete each other perfectly. What else is connecting us? The deep love between parents and daughter and the passion of being hosts. That's why Sloho exists. Your apartment house with a Slovenian host family in the smallest municipality in Styria, the idillic village named Hohentauern.

How about 62 m² for a cozy get-together? Just right for 2, 3 or 4 people. An open fire is also one of the nice things about your time out. On cold winter days or fresh summer evenings. Since winter 2023, you can enjoy the sauna in complete privacy - in your very own sauna house with a well-fenced garden (outdoor area) in front of the apartment.
