Bee nature trail - " Bee-active nature trail" St. Ruprecht an der Raab
All these questions and many more are answered by the bee trail in St. Ruprecht an der Raab. Young and old can learn everything worth knowing about bees on the path from the park to the Stefaniequelle on Burgthannerweg. Already in the historical park with its old trees, the visitor is introduced to the topic of bees. As part of a primary school project, plants that particularly attract bees were planted here and labelled with stones painted by the children.
The bee trail leads along the Raaballee, the tennis court and an idyllic forest path to the Stefaniequelle. On eight information boards, it informs about the structure and functioning of a bee colony and the relationship between humans, honey bees and wild bees. It can be hiked independently at any time and is intended to provide an opportunity to learn about honey bees and their importance for humans. A harmless beehive provides a deep insight into the bees' home. Numerous flaps invite you to join in and puzzle along. Interactive and vivid, instructive and exciting - this is how the bee trail in St. Ruprecht an der Raab presents itself!
