Skiing in the Eastern Styria
In the winter months, Austria’s garden is transformed into a true family skiing paradise. In the 13 small but nice skiing regions, the youngest in particular rule the slopes.
Special highlights await young guests on the slopes, from magic carpets to the drive-through toilet to the “Rumpel-die-Pumpel-Bahn” – your kids will be amazed and their school friends will be jealous. Starting out on the slopes this way is really fun. Ski schools also offer individual and group instruction. The right equipment and expert advice are provided at the rental centre on site. Naturally the equipment you bring yourself is inspected as well.
Waht goes up must come down
Your stay in Austria’s garden should be pleasant and by no means hectic. Not on the slopes, and not in the cosy lodges where everyone hangs out together after the final run. Parents in particular, whose nerves may be put to the test during the first attempts by their offspring on the slopes, can lower their heart rate in the Eastern Styria.
Both the ski schools and the family-friendly atmosphere contribute to keeping kids happy. Activity on the slopes continues with night skiing after sundown.
