The oil farmer tells
"Der Öllerbauer, that was once a typical farm on the north side of the Rabenwald in the Pöllauer valley. Built around 1890, like all farms in the region, it consisted of residential buildings, stables and a barn.
Maria Allmer ran the farm with cows and pigs until she married in 1970 and moved away. Since then, the Heil family has managed the adjoining farm, which was transferred to them in 1990. Thus the Öllerbauer became part of the Heil family farm, vulgo "Höllmüller".
The farm includes approximately 22 hectares of agricultural land and 29 hectares of forest. The farm is geared towards dairy farming and forestry. The around 100-year-old Hirschbirn trees on our farm deliver a rich harvest, which we refine into the specialties of the Hirschbirn gourmet region. We market directly and through the Pöllauer farm shop.
