From the very first step you take in the twilight at Ravenwood, you will be enchanted by the magic of this environment. In the moonlight, herbalist Stefan Käfer entrusts you with the secrets of medicinal plants and herbs on the "Herbal Path of the Senses". It is always said in the vernacular that there is a herb against everything. Toxic or not, healing or dangerous - you will find out together with the herbalist. Equipped with mystical powers, you will then be released back into the night.

Alpine herb garden of the Käfer family

The show garden of the Käfer family is located on the western edge of the Pöllauer valley at about 1000 m above sea level.

Our "Garden of Contrasts" shows a colorful juxtaposition of alpine plants, herbal and homeopathic plants, exotic plants and old farm roses on approx. 600 m².
The facility itself is a sensory experience, but that's not all. The entire garden is a feast for the eyes for every flower lover and the view is a treat for the soul on nice days and of course the newly created "herbal path of the senses" offers the opportunity to explore the area! Also recommended is the herb trail hike at full moon!
