Sea air station at the foot of the Wechsel in Eastern Styria!
The sea air station in the Blumenstrasse town of St. Lorenzen am Wechsel is also known as an aerosolium or open-air inhalatorium. The name is made up of "Aer" = air and "Sol" = salt. The brine dripping over the fir branches absorbs the aromatic resins and essential oils and these are broken up and atomized as they fall. The air you breathe absorbs the healthy essences that have a positive effect on the respiratory tract.
The effect is preventative and curative for chronic bronchitis and chronic sinusitis. The air in the Aerosolium is virtually dust and allergy-free and therefore has a positive effect on allergies such as hay fever and bronchial asthma. It also has an extraordinary, beneficial effect on the autonomic nervous system. A lasting effect can also be seen in sleep disorders.
Inhalation has a particularly long-lasting effect if it is used for several weeks (approx. half an hour a day). The Aerosolium is located in the center of St. Lorenzen am Wechsel, behind the municipal office.
