The rustic alpine hut is located at approx. 1,350 meters and is located between Hochschlag and Eibeggsattel in the Almenland Nature Park. It is managed and offers hungry hikers a good snack and cool drinks. Since the hut keeper himself likes to make music, there are often "plays".
The "Hofbaueralm" hut is furnished with great attention to detail by the boss Martina. Not only hikers come here, celebrations of all kinds can also take place in the Hofbauer Almhütte.
A hearty snack with sausage, cheese, vegetables, fruit, spreads, bread and many more are waiting for the guests - and all from the local farmers in the area! And the wonderful view of the Hochlantsch opposite is included for free!
On a hike around the Hochschlag summit, the Eibeggsattel or the Hochlantsch, you will be happy to stop at the Hofbauer Almhütte.
