Energy road

At 8 stations in the inner city area, the so-called "energy walls", the visitors are confronted with an environmental problem. Sustainable approaches and solutions can be found on the back of the respective "energy wall". The modern adventure trail makes the topic of solar energy tangible and tangible in Gleisdorf. But that's not all - with the new "Straße der EnergiewÆnde/Street of Energy Walls" an adventure route is being created through the city, which also illuminates the topics of environment and sustainability and thus supports the values ​​of the city - the sun at heart. The "Straße der EnergiewÆnde/Street of Energy Walls" convinces with innovative, digital forms of experience and is intended to stimulate thinking about energy-related challenges of the future.

The inner-city part of the theme trail can be walked in about 60 minutes. The 4 stations in the districts of Nitscha, Laßnitzthal, Ungerdorf and Labuch are dedicated to "life energy" and invite you to pause with mindfulness exercises.

A digital, contemporary "tool" is provided alongside the physical stations to make the themed trail more entertaining and thus - in the sense of "edutainment" - to make the visit a positive and exciting experience. The interaction along the "Straße der EnergiewÆnde/Street of Energy Walls" is mainly digital, through new and innovative forms of experience - the so-called energy wall app as well as 2D and 3D animations. A simple smartphone or tablet serves as a “tool” for interaction, with which the QR codes at the stations are scanned. The energy wall app is the target group-specific basis for the "energy quiz" and the "solution videos" at the stations. It is also possible to acquire knowledge without technical aids or to have fun on the themed trail. The "Straße der EnergiewÆnde/Street of Energy Walls" becomes an experience for school classes as well as for individual visits for young and old!
