On weekends and public holidays this year we serve Wiener Schnitzel!
The Glatzl Trahütten Alm is located at just under 1300 m above sea level on the sunny side of the Wechsel region and can be hiked from St. Lorenzen am Wechsel in the direction of Vorauer Schwaig / Hochwechsel in about 1.5 hours. Due to its central location, it is also very easily accessible for all hikers from the Hochwechsel (walking time 2.5 hours), as well as from the Vorauer Schwaig (one hour), the Kaltwiesen (3 hours) and the Hilmtor.
Opening hours: Weekends and public holidays from 09:00 a.m. and weekdays from 10:00 a.m.
For e-bike riders, the hut also has a charging station available.
Excellent for cozy celebrations of all kinds - also with overnight accommodation!
ATTENTION GPS trap -> Arrival by car via the Pinggau-Friedberg exit! Only then enter Glatzl Trahütten Alm - otherwise you will be misdirected via the Glashütte hiking trail!
€ 4,- toll must be paid at the automatic barrier of the Windhag road cooperative - no change!
