The retention basin in Labuch, which was built in 2008/2009, received an artistic component with a bronze sculpture.
The artist Paul Pracher († 2016) made a bronze sculpture of Saint Nepomuk for the gate - the patron saint against floods. The Styrian artist Markus Wilfling, known for his shadow object of the Graz clock tower, planted the word “memory” on the dam. It represents what happened, past floods and devastating floods. In doing so, he brings old images to the mind's eye to prevent them from being forgotten. Memory also stands for the memory of water, the carrier and storage of information over thousands of years.
Accessible all year round.
