Sennerei Leitner

Fladnitz an der Teichalm

In Tulwitz, about 10 minutes by car from the Arzberg ripening tunnel, is the Almenland Dairy of the Leitner family. Christoph and Jasmin Leitner are dedicated to dairy cow farming and have been running a small dairy since 2009. Here they produce several types of stollen cheese from hay milk. Also fresh cheese and yoghurt.

Natural management requires that healthy fodder is available for the animals all year round. But sufficient exercise also motivates the "most important employees" to give their best. The milk is milked under the strictest hygienic regulations and carefully processed. Nature, that is the motto for Stollenkäse production, blazes its own trail. You have to follow it and act from experience and with intuition!

Visitor groups who would like to look behind the scenes of cheese production are very welcome at the Leitner family.

The Almenland Dairy can be visited at any time by appointment.
