The Grassauer snack station is ideal for a snack before or after the hike in the Bärenschützklamm. The station is accessible by car and has parking spaces in front of the door (attention: only a few parking spaces!). Then it goes on foot to the Bärenschützklamm.
The Grassauer family's snack station is the last stop before Bärenschützklamm. You can go to the station by car, but we will point out the few parking spaces and ask you to park at Mixnitz train station. Here, tired hikers get a hearty snack and something to drink before they go home or really head to the Bärenschützklamm. From the Grassauer snack station you hike for about 1 hour to the official entrance to the gorge, then 1 hour through the gorge. Once at the top, you take the so-called "Prügelweg" back to Mixnitz or further to the Teichalm, where you can then be picked up.
