Tango Argentino: course & private lessons

Pöllau

About the offer

Tango Argentino The soulful Argentine tango has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009. Originally danced in bars in Buenos Aires, the Argentine tango became socially acceptable via Paris and conquered the whole world. In contrast to tango shows or standard tango in dance schools, Argentine tango is primarily a social dance that can be adapted to music and dancing ability, does not require acrobatics and is therefore suitable for all age groups. At traditional dance evenings - called milongas - which take place all over the world, it is customary to change partners regularly.

It is an improvisational dance in which, in addition to dance steps, it is primarily about the connection between the partners, the embrace, as well as the interpretation of the music, where simple steps in the most diverse combinations can produce a multi-faceted dance.

People:

Nicolás Bertucci, born in Buenos Aires, has been teaching Tango Milonguero as it is still danced in his home town for more than 20 years, most of them in Vienna.

Karin Szivacsek - yoga teacher and mindfulness trainer - has been dancing for 8 years and is at his side as partner and assistant.
