From Rettenegg to the Stuhleck, Rettenegg
From the Trollengasthof Joglland to the Stuhleck - sheltered from the wind on the sunny side of the Joglland to the summit hut.
From the Trollengasthof Joglland you get closer to the mountain via the south side, over the Zwieselbauerwiesen, relaxed at first. Over forest roads, short, sometimes steeper climbs you get to the tree line. The tour should be planned on sunny days, and note the wind strength in the weather forecast!

Coming by car from Vienna: via Südautobahn - Semmering - Mürzzuschlag - Langenwang (exit in the direction of Alpl) - St. Kathrein am Hauenstein - Ratten - Rettenegg
By car from Graz: Via A2 - Gleisdorf exit - B64 in the direction of Weiz - B72 in the direction of Anger - Birkfeld - Ratten - Rettenegg

- Start at the trout inn Joglland
- After the bridge, turn right and walk north across a flat meadow to the edge of the forest.
- There we go on a forest path into the forest valley
- We continue in the Grabengrund to a small bridge
- Then we go on a steeper slope to the access road to Zwieselbauer
- We cross the road, pass the Zwieselbauer on the right to a forest passage
- Continue across the long meadow to the edge of the forestIn the forest we go up on a narrow path - soon we come to the first clearing
- Then we keep diagonally left to the northwest
- Now we keep in the direction of the already visible chairlift
- After a last ascent we have reached the Alois-Günther-hausTranslated with
Ein Besuch im ausgezeichneten Forellengasthof ist absolut empfehlenswert! Hier bekommt man heimische Forellen nach allen Arten der Kochkunst serviert.
