Culinary alpine pasture tour with breathtaking views

Start the tour with a visit to Heurigen Flourl's Schenke, followed by a stop at the Glatzl Trahütten Alm, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Hochwechsel summit. At the highest point of the route, the Vorauer Schwaig Hütte awaits you, surrounded by idyllic cow pastures, where you can treat yourself to a delicious snack.

Day tickets are available online!

Opening hours are from May 15 to Nov. 01 from 09:00-19:00!

The Styrian Panorama Trails were financed to 60 percent by Leader funding, with the remainder shared between the participating municipalities (Schäffern, Pinggau, Friedberg, Dechantskirchen, St. Lorenzen am Wechsel, Rohrbach an der Lafnitz and Lafnitz).

Directions - By car

via the Südautobahn (A2) to the Pinggau exit
at the traffic circle take the 3rd exit
along the B54 in the direction of Graz/Hartberg
Take the Dechanstkirchen exit
keep left at the village square
pass the Dechantskirchen fire station
turn right onto Bergen way
drive along until Flourl's Tavern

The tour is signposted throughout.

There are a few tips on our tour that we can recommend: Enjoy the breathtaking views and the delicious, lovingly prepared food at the individual huts. Here are a few recommendations:

Glatzl Trahütten Alm: Try the lovingly topped breads with flower petals.
Vorauer Schwaig: Enjoy the homemade roast pork.
Flourl's Schenke: The homemade cardinal slice is an absolute must.

Each of these huts offers a unique culinary experience that you shouldn't miss!
