With the Sulamith Garden and the Scent Trail, the place has other attractions for flower lovers.
The flower village Sankt Kathrein am Offenegg is located at approx. 1,000 meters above sea level and offers a wonderful panoramic view of the alpine pastures in the Almenland nature park.
Numerous hiking trails and themed trails start directly in the center or cross the village. This is a real eye-catcher, especially in the warmer months of the year: it simply blooms everywhere! The residents, the landlords and the accommodation providers are particularly keen to live up to the name "flower village".
The parish church is particularly beautiful with a wonderful alpine panorama, which is located in the center of the village, surrounded by restaurants, shops and the event center. Many excursion destinations, such as the "Hanging Gardens of the Sulamith" or the "Graf Edelbrennerei" invite guests. Here you can not only marvel at the flowers and gardens, but also taste the variety of specialties.
The community area also includes the Sommeralm, where many hiking trails and the large wind turbine can be found. The rustic huts such as the Stoakoglhütte or Weizerhütte should definitely be visited on your hike.
