The Styrian Flower Road sits in the green heart of Austria - Styria, to be precise of Eastern Styria. 11 municipalities, which all have won accolades in the Styrian Flower Decorations Competition, have united to bring you this wonderful flowery experience. The member municipalities are St. Kathrein am Offenegg, Pöllauberg, St. Jakob im Walde, Strallegg, Wenigzell, Vorau, Waldbach-Mönichwald, Fischbach, Miesenbach bei Birkfeld, St. Lorenzen am Wechsel and Hartberg.

The flower parade takes place every two years in one of the locations on the Styrian Flower Road. Numerous magnificently decorated flower wagons then pull through the venue.
As part of the flower parade, the Highnesses of the Styrian Flower Road are elected, who represent the Styrian Flower Road at the various events, celebrations and openings.
