A short but idyllic loop out to the Moarhofhechtl and past the fishing ponds. The Moarhofhechtl circuit in Passail in the Almenland Nature Park is also a nice walk.

The path first leads along the Raab before the small climb leads up to the "Moarhofhechtl". Along meadows and fields it goes out to Auen. The return route then leads along the fish ponds back to the town center

An easy round and a nice walk, partly on dirt paths.

Start: Middle school in Passail, SAM shared taxi station: WZ3327/ Schools Passail

We walk past the Raabursprunghalle, left down to the Raab.
After crossing the Raab, we keep left and walk along the Raab to the next bridge.
There we continue straight ahead in the direction of “Moarhofhechtl”.
We walk along the Schenkweg through the “Moarhofhechtl” farm, along the field path and through another farm until we reach Wienerweg.
Here we turn left down, walk a short distance towards "Hohenau" and then immediately turn left onto Fischteichweg ("Passail over Fischteich").
First through the forest and then past the fish ponds we reach the federal highway/B64.
Here we keep left and walk along the sidewalk back to the middle school, our starting point.

You can buy regional products at the “Moarhofhechtl”, a stately farm. The pasta, eggs and liqueurs are produced directly on the farm.

Safety instructions

Choose your running route carefully so that you can get home safely.
If you are running alone, let someone you trust know where you are running and when you want to be home.
Make sure you have good visibility (reflectors, safety vest) when running at dusk or at night.
Be careful and pay attention to other road users, especially when traveling on roads.
