Cult hiking trail to the wild meadow - sun trail, Miesenbach
The Wildwiesenwarte in Joglland in northeastern Styria is one of the most popular hiking destinations for the whole family in the region - this circular trail leads exactly there.
One should be careful with superlatives - but that from the Wildwiesenwarte the most beautiful panoramic view of the Joglland over the Waldheimat to our Hungarian neighbors is possible, that certainly no one doubts. Fortunately, the lookout is also open in winter and can be easily reached via the cult hiking trail from Miesenbach, but also from Wenigzell and Strallegg. The Kultwanderweg is intended to create historical and folkloric awareness among locals and guests by means of numerous information boards along the way.
The signposting of the trail starts at the Wildwiesenhof Inn and consists of blue signs with yellow inscriptions or symbols (sun).
What is most impressive about this trail is the panorama that awaits you and the exciting information that you will find on the boards and "take home" with you.

- We start at the Wildwiesenhof
- From there we walk in western direction uphill to a meadow
- At the left edge of the meadow the moon path branches off to the right and leads directly to the wild meadow
- The Sonnenweg continues along the Güterweg to a prominent crossroads
- At the crossing we keep to the left and walk to the so-called Bildstein
- Here the path meets a flat forest road
- We follow the forest road until we come to a crossroads
- At the crossroads we turn sharp right and walk a short distance on the road
- After a few minutes of walking we follow the right side path and then a forest path up to the wild meadow
- Via the Floisenkogel or the Wetterkreuz we hike back to the Wildwiesenhof
Due to the location, there is hardly any fog here and you can enjoy the magnificent view, also from the 36 meter high Wildwiesenwarte!
