The so-called "rail room", based on the longest rail in the world, which is manufactured by voestalpine in Leoben-Donawitz, was created in cooperation with regional artists. Objective: To enable hotel guests to experience the gigantic forces required for rail production and to bring them into the middle of the architecturally impressive room. The guest himself becomes a part of the massive rail rolling process, which is captured with an oversized 3D image with lighting effects. The mirror construction of the bed gives the impression that the longest rail in the world runs straight through the room. All in all, the rail room is a new flagship room of the Hotel Kongress with factory hall charm. You get the impression of being in the middle of the production facility, including the crane system, shift worker locker and everything that goes with it. Playful details such as gas pipes as curtain rods complete the overall impression.

Following our motto "BECAUSE SATISFACTION IS NOT AN ACCIDENT", we are constantly renewing and renovating parts of our house to make our guests' stay in the mining town of Leoben even more pleasant. As a regional employer and contractor, it is of great concern to us to leave added value in the region and to implement such projects with local partners. This is how our GREENWING rooms were created in 2022, which have enjoyed great popularity since their completion.
The Greenwing rooms impress with the use of local materials and modern technology. Our guests can expect an ecological, sustainable design mineral floor, beds made of oak wood with headboards made of Styrian loden and, as a special eye-catcher, a moss panel in the room. All materials used come from Austria. The air-conditioning system ensures pleasant temperatures in all seasons, and the retractable socket towers in the desks reliably supply all modern devices with power.
