Der Sternenhimmel über unserem Schloss Kassegg ist einer der ausdrucksstärksten in Europa. Ja, rund um den Nationalpark Gesäuse gibt es so gut wie keine Lichtverschmutzung – hier lassen sich Kassiopeia, Orion und Pegasus in voller Pracht entdecken und bestaunen. Gewitzt und mit viel Expertise weiß unser Johannes Sulzbacher einiges über Sternenbilder, Kometen und Planeten zu berichten.
Nebenbei bleibt Zeit, um die weltgrößte Klosterbibliothek sowie Museen des Stift Admonts erkunden und bestaunen zu können sowie sich Kulinarisch in unserem Schlossrestaurant mit steirischer Hausmannskost und regionalen Spezialitäten verwöhnen zu lassen.

Hotel Schloss Kasseg is a former romantic hunting castle built in 1886. It is quietly located, surrounded by the forests and mountains of National Park Gesäuse. Only a few miles away, you will find all the major sporting activities of the area such as hiking, climbing, mountainbiking, rafting, canoying and many interesting sites for families .

The castle is located in the Gesäuse Nature Park, in a large park, away from noise and bustle. The rooms are comfortably furnished with light beech wood furniture and offer a beautiful view of the Gesäuse mountains. Please note that we deliberately do not have a TV in our rooms. Wi-Fi is offered free of charge throughout the hotel.
In the restaurant we will treat you with a rich breakfast buffet and a 3-course dinner buffet incl. breakfast. Salad in the course of half board.
The romantic ambience of the arcade courtyard invites to coffee and cake in the afternoon.
In the castle you will find many rooms and areas to relax, to play or simply to feel good. TV room and wi-fi are available free of charge in the public areas. In the park we have set up a natural children's playground, here your little ones can really let off steam.
