Spend your hiking or skiing holiday in beautiful Hohentauern. The Austrian village is located at 1,274 metres above sea level and is the smallest municipality in Styria with just under 400 inhabitants. No matter whether you arrive in winter or summer: Hohentauern offers numerous hiking trails and cross-country skiing trails of varying degrees of difficulty, which you can reach quickly from your accommodation. (Once across the road and off you go!) The accommodation borders directly on a ski slope, which is particularly suitable for beginners, advanced skiers and families. The newly built mini-golf course can already be seen from the front door and provides an alternative programme for your children who may not want to hike every day :-) Indulge in culinary delights in the local restaurants, which are within easy walking distance. However, our accommodation is perfect for self-catering. Available is: microwave, oven, cooker, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker and the most important kitchen utensils. In Hohentauern itself there is a Nah&Frisch shop. During the high season, a bakery truck comes to the holiday village every day (between 7:45 and 8:15). In the neighbouring village of Trieben there is a Billa and SPAR supermarket.
