Wine and well-being hotel in the midst of the South Styrian vineyards in Ehrenhausen on the wine route.
The Ratscher Landhaus stands for pure enjoyment on the South Styrian Wine Road. Whether in the year-round open hotel with wine garden restaurant, wine bar, café, lounge & wellness area – Michaela and Andreas Muster passionately bring their guests the lifestyle of southern Styria with great attention to detail.
Perfectly located on the oldest and probably also the best-known wine road of the region, the house serves as both a starting point for visits to the surrounding wineries and wine taverns, as well as a retreat for moments of absolute peace and relaxation.

The Ratscher Landhaus is strongly connected to nature and thus also to the seasons, which is reflected in our offerings. In spring, we focus heavily on activity and liveliness. In summer, we celebrate togetherness. From babies to grandparents, everyone is warmly welcome. In autumn, however, the focus is on abundance and enjoyment. And in winter, the emphasis is on relaxation. Our adults-only time, during which we consciously create space for retreat and relaxation.

For us, wellness means more than just wellness. It signifies well-being and expresses a "state of being" in which nothing is lacking and one feels completely well. Because it's about not having to do anything or ought to do anything, but simply to be. To be in the moment. To be in nature. To be happy!
Whether it’s a jump into the year-round heated infinity pool with a breathtaking view or our natural pool that gently embraces the landscape and guarantees real "sea" value. Two saunas and an infrared cabin promise a deeply relaxing break from everyday life, while massage rooms and a well-fit water massage bed provide all possibilities to do something good for your body. Swing beds on the covered sauna terrace invite you to let body and soul dangle. On generous 500 m2, the wellness area at Ratscher Landhaus captures the lightness of being. In addition, there are around 1000 m2 of outdoor wellness with plenty of space to relax and cuddle. That is well-being at Ratscher Landhaus.

The swing chairs on the balconies of the panorama rooms bring not only positive vibes but also invite you to let your soul dangle. The large windows blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, bringing the vineyards and nature into your vacation realm.

Such a thing is called culinary security! Because you are almost always taken care of. In the morning with a hearty breakfast from the rich buffet, at noon the afternoon menu offers fine hot dishes for those in between hunger. For the sweet-toothed, there are ice creations and homemade pastries in the café with a sun terrace. The wonderful four-course evening menu tempts the palates from 6:00 PM onwards, and if you need a snack with your gin and tonic in the wine bar, beef tartare, regional cheese, and ham are ready to serve!

As a confessed “wine enthusiast,” Andreas Muster is a hunter and collector in matters of wine – the fully stocked cellar is living proof of his many successful foraging trips. A selection of more than 600 wines frames the South Styrian vacation in perfection.
