Across the Wechselland, Friedberg

The cycle tour starts in the historic town center of Friedberg and leads up to the adventure mountain. There you will find a lookout tower and a themed playground called "Burg Friedberg". From here, the route continues to the idyllic Hilmtor rest area and then downhill to the Hohenau chapel with its stunning views. During the ride, you have the opportunity to take a break at Flourl's Schenke, a charming tavern in the style of a wine tavern with a wonderful panoramic view. The route then leads via the cultural town of Dechantskirchen and Stögersbach back to Friedberg, passing the only Thonet Museum in Austria. The route continues along the Pinggau bathing lake, through the communities of Schäffern and Tauchen am Wechsel, in the direction of Pinggau. On the way, you pass the Maria Hasel pilgrimage church before finally returning to Friedberg.
