Award of the European Heritage Label! Experience culture and culinary delights at Rein Abbey.

On September 28, Rein Abbey opens its doors for a day full of culture and culinary delights. Rein Abbey and the "Cistercian Culinary Heritage" project will be awarded the European Heritage Label.

From 10:00 a.m., visitors can look forward to a varied program that brings the rich history and culinary heritage of the Cistercians to life. Guided tours of the monastery at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00 as well as special children's tours at 11:00 and 14:00. The guided tour to the water tunnel in Ulrichsberg, which takes place at 10:00 and 13:00, deserves special attention. Enjoy cooking demonstrations where the culinary traditions of the Cistercians come to life. Children will get their money's worth with hands-on activities, while live music from the "Gratweiner Böhmischen" and the "Steirische Soatnpress" will ensure a good atmosphere. Admission is free, a visit is worthwhile for the whole family!
