Run from Schladming through the Talbachklamm gorge, the Toteisboden and Tettermoor nature reserves, to the Riesach Falls, the highest waterfall in Styria, then along the Alpinsteig over stairs and bridges through the Höll to the Riesachsee.

Before the start
The start of the Wild Water Run is at the main square in Schladming at the music pavilion. You will receive a parking ticket for your relatives for the Untertal. Since the places on the mountain pasture are very limited it is absolutely necessary to take warm, weatherproof clothing with you, this can be handed in at the starting area. Please use the public toilet facilities at the parking lot in the Pfarrgasse (near the pharmacy).
The run
The start will be at 9:09 am at the main square. To save time after the run, Nordic walkers will be let off at 8:30. The route leads along the theme trail "Wild Waters" through the Talbachklamm gorge to Untertal, keep left to the Janerweg, to the Janerbrücke bridge, the Toteisboden and Tettermoor nature reserves, to the Riesachfall, the highest waterfall in Styria, then along the Alpinsteig trail over stairs and bridges through the Höll to the Riesachsee lake. Please take special care on the downhill passages! The finish is at the garden door of the Gföllalm. There are 2 refreshment stations along the course and a hearty soup and cake at the finish. The running club Schladming provides an experienced mountain rescuer as a final runner.
After the run
Depending on the weather, an additional tent will be set up in the finish area as a shelter as well as a changing tent. The way back to the Riesach parking lot can only be taken via the forest road (Die Höll is one-way...). Those who do not have a ride can take the bus to Schladming, the transport is free for runners (please show your race number).
