Night Ski tour Riesneralm
Your Friday evening rendezvous with the Riesneralm.
The popular ‘Familienschuss’ and ‘Krispenleit'n’ pistes belong to skiers during the day, but will light the way up to the Riesneralm and safely back down into the valley for you as a ski tourer on Friday evenings. And because it always tastes best after the ascent, the Hochsitz is open for you on these special Friday evenings until 21:00.

From the Ennstalbundesstraße (B320) turn off at the Trautenfels junction in the direction of Irdning, Donnersbach, Donnersbachwald. Through the village of Donnersbach and another 12 km to Donnersbachwald to the Riesneralm.
From the Riesneralm valley station, after strapping on your touring skis, you immediately head for the illuminated "Familienschuss" piste. You follow this up to the middle station at 1600 m, where you then switch to the final ascent on the "Krispenleit'n" slope. With the high seat always in view, you will also master the last third of the tour with flying colors.
The descent into the valley is also via the two slopes "Krispenleit'n" and "Familienschuss".
Refreshment stop at the mountain station at the Hochsitz.
Unfortunately, there is no public transport in the evening.
Parking area free of charge directly at the Riesneralm valley station.
- All pistes on the Riesneralm are closed to ski tourers day and night except on ski touring evenings!
- Ascent and descent on Friday evening from 5.00 pm only via the ‘Familienschuss’ and ‘Krispenleit'n’ pistes.
- Use of the pistes outside opening hours is life-threatening and strictly prohibited.
- Use at your own risk - no liability is accepted for any alpine dangers such as avalanches, weather etc. that may occur.
- In winter, caution is also required on supposedly easy tours. The ground can be slightly icy in shady places and there may be a risk of avalanches on slopes. Mountain sports are therefore - all the more so in winter - primarily a matter of personal responsibility. Before every ski tour or snowshoe hike, it is essential to check the current avalanche report - available at www.lawine.at
