Stollen cheese Almenland

Passail

Since 2009, Franz Möstl's world-champion quality stollen cheese varieties have been maturing in the Franz Leopold tunnel of the former Arzberg silver tunnel. In the meantime, there are numerous varieties of cow, sheep and goat milk that are produced in the Leitner alpine dairy from pure hay milk and brought to the former silver mine to mature. During a guided tour of the tunnels, interesting facts about cheese production and the uniqueness of the Arzberger Stollenkäse are told and then the exquisite cheeses are tasted in the cozy pit house.

The gourmet shop in the pit house invites you to browse and shop. In addition to the stollen cheese, you will find delicacies from the Almenland nature park and exquisite products from our homeland.
