The hosts Martha Polz and Elisabeth Polz look after the Buschenschank, which is housed in a 450-year-old building on the winery grounds. The house was renovated by the parents Primus and Martha Polz and is now run by Martha and Elisabeth. The wine tavern is only open to groups by prior arrangement. Martha and Elisabeth also look after the catering for their guests. The beautiful rooms on the ground floor breathe the old walls and offer a unique atmosphere with an antique tiled table cooker. There is room for around 30 people in the parlours and 40 on the terrace. The menu offers simple, seasonal Buschenschank dishes. The ingredients are mainly sourced from small regional producers, with the exception of a few products such as cheese. All dishes are handmade and served cold, in accordance with the regulations of the Buschenschank law. In addition to sausage and ham, fine vegetarian dishes and salads complete the menu. Martha Polz's vegetable and beef terrines, which must always be fresh, are particularly popular. The seasonal pastries and cakes contribute significantly to the excellent reputation of our Buschenschank. The premises can also be hired for celebrations. You are welcome to bring in a caterer for hot meals.
