On Sundays during the season, there is a varied children's program on every scheduled 3:00 pm train! There is a wonderful and large playground for children in the park on the station grounds.
Guests are entertained by an accordion player during the journey. There are culinary stops (not included in the price) at the intermediate stations in Kraubath and Preding. The trip takes 2 - 2 ½ hours. Dogs are allowed with a leash and bite protection.

The Flaschlerlzug is a true West Styrian institution. In 1892, the iconic Lokalbahn was once opened. The name of the train also dates back to around the turn of the century - because "Höllerhansl", known as a miracle healer, "ordained" in Rachling. Mr. Reinbacher was reported to be able to detect various diseases from urine. Many people went with a bottle of urine in the luggage by train to "Höllerhansl" - hence the name "Flascherlzug". And even today, allegedly many of the 25,000 annual passengers should have one or the other bottle in the luggage while driving. The Schilcherland leaves you only in exceptional cases without the eponymous Rosé wine!
From the end of April to the beginning of November, as well as on special days such as New Year's Eve, the Stainz Flascherlzug travels on the 11.9km route from Stainz to Preding. Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays (from the 17th of August to the end of October every Friday), the bottle train starts at Stainz station at the dairy. There is a stopover in Kraubath, the turning station is located in Preding-Wieselsdorf. After about two hours you return to the station in Stainz. For the best entertainment during the ride, an accordion player and the culinary well-being is provided with the extra carry-along car.
