You get a real railroad feeling when you take a seat in the Meierei. Two nostalgic railroad carriages have been transformed into a train restaurant with great attention to detail. The menu also includes pumpkin seed krainer and railroad burgers. Wines, juices and brandies are produced in-house. An outdoor steam bar adds to the atmosphere.
The train kitchen often enjoys the reputation of a quick snack kitchen. The Meierei at the Stainzer Flascherlzug proves that there is another way.
Since opening in 2017, the two former train carriages have been cooking up a storm. In keeping with the historical name - a Meierei used to be a farm leased by a lord, where the products produced on site were also sold - regional delicacies are conjured up in the Kuchlwaggon, which can then be enjoyed in the “Schmankerlwaggon”.
In the unique outdoor DampfBar, you can enjoy both sunny hours and balmy evenings.
Open every year from April to October | Open on public holidays from 9:30-19:00!
