The Naturpark Mürzer Oberland is nestled behind the mountain peaks of Rax, Schneealm and Hoher Veitsch in the northeast of Styria.
With its imposing Neuberg Abbey - where the Neuberg Culture Days take place every year - it not only attracts culture enthusiasts, but also many people who enjoy movement and who are in search of nature.

A wonderful flora and fauna characterize this forest and water-rich cultural landscape on the upper reaches of the Mürz.
Families and children will find exciting nature adventures in the "Nature Experience Program", numerous adventure trails offer entertaining and those who are hungry for exercise will discover many opportunities for hiking, cycling or mountain bike tours.
And snowy winters allow skiers, cross-country skiers, snowshoe or ski tourers the best conditions!

Neuberg Abbey with the imposing minster, the nature museum and the Kaiserhof glass factory.
Climate change adventure trail - Austria's 1st climate change adventure trail in Altenberg an der Rax. Accessible with and without a guide.
A hike to the Schneealm is also ideal for families - refreshment stops!
Niederalpl ski area - children up to the age of 15 ski for free in the natural snow paradise when accompanied by their parents.
