The art gallery of the Spitalkirche in Bad Aussee on Meranplatz will be the venue for a special vernissage by Ischl artist Roswitha Elisabeth Wieder on July 8, 2024.
At 6 pm, the doors will be ceremoniously opened for a touching encounter with Wieder's art. The exhibition can be viewed until August 17, 2024 under the inspiring motto "Against Forgetting". Art lovers and interested parties are cordially invited to take in the profound works.
Roswitha Elisabeth Wieder lives and creates her art in Bad Ischl. During her multifaceted vernissage, she presents around 40 paintings and figurative objects, which have a particularly harmonious effect in the setting of the church. The impressive works address the theme of remembering one's roots, encourage us to expand our personal sphere, to accept the past lovingly and without judgment, and thus encourage us to gain new ways of thinking and views for our own future. What we look at will change if we come to terms with our personal history, allow it to be appreciated and create space for our own ways of looking at things. With "Against Forgetting", Roswitha Elisabeth Wieder offers precisely this framework for personal interpretation, provides subtle food for thought and creates an inspiring atmosphere to bring the history and perspective of each individual into focus.

This meaningful presentation finds the perfect backdrop in the gallery of the historic hospital church in Bad Aussee to ideally set the mood for the works of art. The exhibition is open to the public from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon.
