Verein Adfontes Kultur und Gesundheit tries to bring medicine and music - especially the healing effects of baroque music, for example for the heart - under one roof and so the organizers have already organized several baroque concerts in Upper Austria under this motto.
Music lowers the heart rate and blood pressure and reduces stress hormones. Scientific studies have shown that cantatas lower blood pressure and heart rate in a similar way to medication.
