As one of the four cross-country skiing centers in the Ausseerland Salzkammergut, Altaussee at the foot of the Loser mountain delights with its very own winter magic. Due to the high altitude around the Blaa Alm there is a high snow guarantee, which often makes it possible to use the cross-country trails until spring.

When snow conditions are suitable, the cross-country trails are groomed from the Loser Ski Arena.
