Loser Hut (alpine association)
AltausseeRustic hut at 1,540 meters above sea level with large sun terrace and fantastic panoramic views (closed in bad weather).
In summer (until August 2024), the Alpenverein hut can be easily reached by car via the Loser Panoramastraße. This is the starting point for hikes to the Loser summit, Augstsee, Loserfenster etc.
Is the ascent from the Blaa Alm or from the center of Altaussee? Then a well-deserved break is taken in the restaurant or on the large sun terrace before continuing to the Loser summit.
Coach groups and parties for every occasion are very welcome. The Loserhütte offers enough space for up to 80 people.
Game and Styrian specialities are served from the delicatessen kitchen.

The ascent takes place with the new panorama lift. The Loserhütte is approx. 15 minutes' walk from the mountain station. After a stop at the hut, you can hike back to the mountain station and back to the intermediate station.
