The current cross-country skiing trail report can be found on the website of the Ausseerland Salzkammergut Tourism Association.

The Gößler cross-country skiing network is small-scale and therefore close-meshed, but offers great variety for classic style and skaters. Open meadows for connoisseurs, romantic forest trails and challenging climbs for runners with a lot of stamina. A popular destination is the Toplitzsee. Good signage makes it easy to find the desired destinations.

The best way to get to Grundlsee is to plan with google.at/maps.

The starting point at Pension Hofmann opens the comfortable parts of the route near the village. Further on, you branch off into a forest section that leads to the Toplitzsee lake.From the start at the "Fischhaus" you are led straight ahead to the Gößlerwiesen. A more demanding part for well-trained technicians who love open landscapes and want to enjoy beautiful views. About 100 meters after the entrance you follow the trail branching off to the right to the Toplitzsee.

The personal exploration of the Goessler conditions is recommended. This will determine the most suitable entry and choose the most enjoyable route.
