Erich and Ramona Landner have been running the beekeeping together for over 20 years. The company has been certified as an organic beekeeping since 2013 and is inspected annually. The approximately 100 bee colonies are on the meadows and in the forests around Leoben and thus also ensure the important pollination in the region.
In front of their house in Leoben - Seegraben, the beekeeping family set up a small bee teaching garden, where visitors can learn a lot about the life of bees and look through the glass pane of the show beehive directly into a colony of bees.
The Seegraben nature trail leads directly past the beekeeping. Bee products can also be purchased there directly from the apiary. A self-service box is also located at the beekeeping in the bee teaching garden.
