Welcome to our 500 year old Moarhof holiday in Palfau/Landl! The lovingly renovated farm with its numerous outbuildings is the perfect starting point for an exciting and at the same time relaxing vacation with us in the Styrian Eisenwurzen nature park. Anyone who has felt the adrenaline thickness during a rafting, canyoning or high rope garden tour can come to rest at the campfire in the evening. Water, hills, trees - especially for children, our farm is a single large playground. Our house is only a few kilometers away from the Hochkar ski area. A ski bus brings you directly from our house to the Hochkar and back again.

In 1972 the Moarhof by Elsa and Ignaz Lackmaier was expanded into a accommodation company. In combination with the Rafting Camp Palfau, the Feriengut Moarhof is a very popular holiday destination that has continued to develop. The Moarhof is not only a popular holiday destination, but also my parents' house where I grew up and in which I live with my family. This powerful place offers a down -to -earth environment for our children with a lot of quality of life. The Moarhof is located in northern Upper Styria in the Dreiländereck Styria, Lower Austria and Upper Austria. The mountain range of the Gesäuse National Park with its deeply cut, the Salzatal and the Ennstal is formative for our region. Since the Salzatal or the Gesäusche lie somewhat "from the shot", our area of industry and trade was largely spared, which fortunately has been preserved the originality and naturalness. Ballermann and apresskemeilen are searched for in vain, but outdoor athletes and nature lovers get their money's worth due to the above -average leisure activities in nature. The many many excursion opportunities not only meet the family vacationers very much, a lot is also offered culturally. There is so much to discover and experience, it's just worth staying longer.

The double rooms at the Moarhof/Rafting camp are on the first floor of the completely renovated, 500 -year -old farmhouse. The impressive vault and the thick walls tell stories from long past days. The solid architectural style also plays in the newly designed rooms. Larch flooring, solid wood furniture and subtle decoration - our guests feel comfortable here! Each room has its own bathroom/toilet, satellite TV, WiFi, Haarföhn. Large people are good - the beds have a length of 2.10 meters. The diverse breakfast with "organic" products from the region round off your stay. Sometimes it is possible to set up a delivery bed in the double rooms, please inquire separately.

The smaller "Nussbaumblick" double room is on the first floor of the completely renovated, 500-year-old farmhouse. The impressive vault in the entrance area and the thick stone walls suggest solid construction and a long history. When redesigning the rooms, emphasis was placed on a natural, down-to-earth style, which is reflected in the furnishings and interior design. The clear campsite at the Moarhof/RaftingCamp offers a nice view of the Gesäusberge in addition to a fireplace, seating and power connection. There is a free choice of seats, whether with a tent, motorhome or car. The sanitary facilities and the power connection are included in the price. WiFi is available in the area of the office. Breakfast can be booked at the Moarhof, a grocery store is only 200 meters away, an inn 300 meters. Many leisure options are offered in the rafting camp. This campsite is ideal as a base and starting point for white water rides on the Salza, as it is located in the middle of the core route of the Salza.

The old court smithy, a 300-year-old stone house with "spandrel walls" is a special eye-catcher at the Moarhof. The foundation walls made of stone, the massive roof truss made of wood from our own forest and the roof made of wooden shingles form a very lovely unit. The two holiday apartments, each of which can accommodate a maximum of five people, can be reached via the "tapped" wooden external stairs. The smoked ash floor and the solid wood furniture make the living units cozy and warm. The 45m² living units are equipped with two bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet. There is also satellite TV, hair dryer and Wifi.
