And the Golf- und Landclub Ennstal has more to offer in terms of nature than others of its kind. The 18-hole course is the only golf course in Europe to be located in a Natura 2000 area. Nature conservation is a top priority here, with numerous biotopes lining the course and golf balls flying alongside corncrakes and grass frogs.

As if it were a matter of course, irises, daffodils and orchids naturally line individual areas of the course in spring and summer - landscape architects couldn't have done it better. Although the course is located in the middle of a breathtaking mountain landscape, it is played on flat terrain. The view of the colossal Weißenbach walls is an incentive to take a deep breath before taking a swing and seems to encourage some players to perform at their best. The course is compactly laid out and the distances between the fairways are moderate. Take a deep breath - take a swing - and play well!
