Old Town Hall, Hauptplatz 6
Basically medieval (around 1240), like most of the houses around the main square.
In 1604 the citizens of Kapfenberg bought the house on the square. From 1611 to 1911 it served as the town hall. The stuccoed round gable facade is kept in baroque tradition. A high tower with an onion helmet fell victim to the great market fire.
The Dolce & Caffiano café is located on the lower floor
